Never lose your work again. Create an email address dedicated to your writing (or your photos) and email your documents or pictures to yourself each time you create them. For instance, I have an email address called galokpics@yahoo.com that contains all my photos.
How easiliy readable is your writing? Did you know you could find out the grade and readability levels in Microsoft Word? Go to Tools, Options and check the Spelling and Grammar tab. Select readability statistics and click OK. Every time you spell and grammar check, the readability statistics will be displayed too.
Writing and editing documents on more than one computer? Sometimes the fonts you choose on one computer will not be available on your other computer. To preserve fonts when transferring documents, go to Tools, Options, Save and check Embed TrueType fonts and click OK. This must be done for each individual document.
