You were the utmost in professionalism, and the interview was a pleasant experience.  Clearly, the article was true to form from the interview; obviously detailed and accurate with the deluge of information I threw at you.  I am not a politician, nor do I like the political process, but you handled the interview with compassion, yet holding true to detail and accuracy.  While it is difficult to discuss your own accomplishments and personal background, you made the process both relaxing and comfortable.  It certainly was easy to talk to you, while at the same time you appropriately inquired into the requisite subject matter. Read the

"When I met Linda over a burger and a beer at a local eatery that summer, I remember feeling very at ease the minute we were introduced. Having had some experience interviewing people for my radio show,  I was uncomfortable being on the other side of the "microphone".  It wasn't long before her probing questions had me remembering things I had long forgotten, and what seemed like a 5 minute chat, was actually 3 hours long!  The best part of the experience was reading the article she had so graciously written without error or exaggeration!  How often does that happen with reporters?  Well done, Linda!" I found the interview process with you very relaxing and supportive, as your approach to the interview process was professional, thoughtful, and friendly. Having had a few trade interviews that were less well prepared for by journalists in the past, it was such a relief to feel that the article you were going to write would be a good representation of what I do and who I am. And it was!   Best of luck to you, Linda!  Read the published interview.

I felt quite comfortable answering the questions about my personal opinions about teaching and also my goals as a teacher.  You were patient when asking questions and then listening to the answers and did not interrupt my answering or ask the same questions in different formats.  Read the published interview.

The interview process was fun. I especially enjoyed the chance to tell my side of plumbing trade as a woman. I thought the article was well written. There is a copy of it framed in my home that I read from time to time for inspiration.  Read the published interview here.

When I attended BCC in the year 2006-2007, Linda was my English tutor. She was a wonderful person to have. She was outgoing and very understanding with my disability. Linda helped me with my writing skills, which are now helping me with my online courses from the University of Phoenix. She gave me confidence that I could do the work. Linda was always there for me, even though it wasn't our day for tutoring. All I needed to do was email or call her and she was there to help.
