Superintendent, Computer Network Services, Offutt AFB, NE 2001-2005


·         Supervised and led 180 employees in diverse communications teams. 

·         Managed maintenance team of 105 personnel for 30 million-dollar long-haul communications equipment supporting national defense for all of North America. 

·         Led a 1.9 million-dollar computer system upgrade project resulting in an 800 percent increase in access rate; provided critical information to the battlefield.   

·         Coordinated $8 million storage area network project centralizing server data for over 50 thousand users. 

·         Planned and coordinated consolidation of three network work centers, cross utilizing employees’ talents and training:  cut response time and computer downtime by 50%. 

·         Headed team of five in building a computer network training center; resulted in the certification and accreditation of over 400 computer network professionals.

Supply Superintendent, Offutt AFB, NE/Ramstein AB, Germany 1995-2001


·         Managed a team of 13 personnel in controlling all logistical aspects of a 74 million dollar account in support of the Air Force’s RC-135 RIVET JOINT fleet’s flying mission. 

·         Directed repair cycle process improvement team that resulted in the reduction of 360 parts shipments per month (66% reduction). 

·         Meticulous oversight of warehouse management resulted in less than one percent refusal rate on parts requests; ultimately ensured zero aircraft mission aborts.

·         Led a team of 11 in managing 120 million dollar, war-ready kits for C-130 aircraft; increased stock effectiveness by eight percent and decreased kit deployment time from 16 hours to 30 minutes.

·         Supervised the administration and training for the base’s Two-Level Maintenance Program; results: best pipeline time in the Air Force and “best practice” in all of Europe.

Supply Supervisor, Thule AB, Greenland/Plattsburgh AFB, NY 1984-1995


·         Sole evaluator and advisor for 57 million-dollar Danish-American supply contracts.

·         Devised a supply reorganization plan that reduced the number of warehouses from eight to five; results:  improved storage efficiency, production, and $200,000 annual savings. 

·         Sole supply customer service representative serving 15,000 people; constructed customer-needs computer program resulting in effective trend analysis thus a 30 percent reduction in customer needs.
